About
Seven Angels Theatre is a 501(c)(3) professional regional theater founded in 1990 by actress Semina DeLaurentis and six local business leaders, after the company’s inaugural production of ‘Nunsense’ sold out 21 performances during the 1989 Hollywood writers’ strike. Since 1991 the theater has called the historic Hamilton Park Pavilion in Waterbury home, a 1925 Big Band-era dance hall it adapted into a year-round professional venue. Its mission is to elevate the level of entertainment in New Haven County and to enrich the community through the arts by producing inspiring theater and fostering artistic excellence. Each season Seven Angels mounts musicals, plays, world premieres, concerts, comedy nights, and cabaret, alongside a year-round youth education program for the Greater Waterbury region.
