Grand Moments Masquerading as Everyday Life
Fine arts portraitist ShawnaLee Waterbury-Kwashnak’s collection of drawings and paintings, including a portrait of Woodbury’s historic Glebe House, botanical illustrations and pet portraits. Cum Laude graduate of Western Connecticut State University; recipient of the Susan Wakeen Fine Art Award and Richter Awards of Excellence.

Meeting Place — Sculptures by Sydney Smith
About the Artist: Sydney Smith works in locally sourced wood and found objects to consider how relationships and histories can be communicated through form and material. Hartford-based; year-long fellow at Trinity College, resident at Vermont Studio Center, and instructor at Makerspace CT.

Established in September 2006, the Arts & Culture Collaborative (ACC) was created to strengthen and support the arts in the Waterbury region as a central component of furthering economic and cultural development and to enhance the quality of life for area residents. Member-based, the ACC serves individual artists and performers, arts and cultural venues and organizations of all sizes as well as their audiences in the greater Waterbury region and Naugatuck Valley.Â
