About

Massaro Community Farm is a certified-organic, 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm on 57 acres in Woodbridge, Connecticut, operating in long-term partnership with the town. The farm grows a wide range of mixed vegetables, flowers, and eggs that supply its CSA program, local farmers markets, and restaurants throughout greater New Haven and the Naugatuck Valley. Mission-driven from the start, the farm commits to donating at least 10% of its annual harvest to hunger-relief organizations across the region, and that commitment shapes its growing plan each season. Massaro also serves as a community gathering place, with on-farm educational programs, family events, school visits, and a Saturday farm stand open from 10am to 1pm. The tagline ‘Keep farming. Feed people. Build community.’ captures the three pillars of its work: preserving working farmland, getting fresh food to neighbors who need it, and building the social fabric of the surrounding towns.
