JT Art and Design is a multi-faceted art and print design studio based in the greater Naugatuck Valley, serving clients across Connecticut and southern New England including parts of southern New Hampshire, eastern New York State, and northern New Jersey. Owner Judy Tourangeau has been drawing live, flattering caricatures professionally since 2003, and the studio is a popular fixture at family reunions, corporate events, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, birthdays, school and college events, grand openings, and fundraisers. Beyond caricature, the studio produces commissioned illustration in traditional and digital media, including portraits of people, pets, and houses worked from photo references. JT Art and Design also offers graphic design and visual marketing for small businesses and nonprofits, with capabilities ranging from logos to flyers, mailers, print ads, billboards, posters, and digital display media. An online shop on Etsy under JTPortraicatures has rounded out the business since 2017.
