Wednesday Afterschool Art Studio

In Person! Private Art Studio just minutes from MES & MMS.

Sign up for 3:30-4:30 or 4:45- 5:30pm.

Winter 2023:  Jan. 4,11,18, 25; Feb. 1, 8,15, 22; March 1, 8.

Spring:  March 15, 22, 29; April 5, 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24.

Ten Weeks: $345 per session;  All materials included.

Fall, Winter & Spring into art through the joy of drawing, painting & sculpture.  This class is an EXCEPTIONAL value for your youth! This class will be a mix of fine arts skill building with fun and educational projects that are seasonal!   Ages 8-18!  (yes, I have had several students go through the entire ten year program!!!!)

The winter session will create a papier mache snowman lantern, create a winter scene in pastels, learn pen & ink for creating a Valentine, and learn watercolors.  If time and interest allows, we may apply our  skills towards painting snowflakes on a sugar cookie!

The Spring Session will focus on papier mache sculpture animals, acrylic painting, Pen & Ink Spring Egg designing, mixed media Butterflies and learning drawing skills for creating flower drawings/paintings!

Students will be gently guided through the artistic thought process according to each individual’s needs & strengths. Older / more advanced & continuing students will gain experience learning how to see and think like an artist as skills are reinforced and built upon.
