During sweet treats week students with explore the elements of art while creating delicious art work. We will take a look at artist Wayne Thiebaud for inspiration as well as some children’s books. Students will draw, paint, and sculpt tasty treats while honing their art skills. They will create an oil pastel cupcake, a mile-high sundae, delicious “line-sicles” and an ice cream cone triptych!
