JUNETEENTH CELEBRATI ON
FEATURING CONROY WARREN AND FRIENDS
Thursday, June 16, 6 p.m.
Front Plaza
Celebrate the freedom and expressionism of
Juneteenth with live music from the African diaspora,
including jazz, reggae, calypso and more, performed
by jazz musician Conroy Warren and Friends.
Be inspired, experience a new culture or just come to
dance to the beat! If you’re feeling limber, there will be
a limbo challenge!

Conroy Warren developed his love for music as a teenager growing up in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He later studied at the
Berklee College of Music in Boston and Herbert H. Lehman College in New York. With more than thirty years in the
music business, Mr. Warren has performed locally, nationally and internationally, in Nigeria, the Virgin Islands, New
York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Sponsored by the Philip V. Benevento Fund for Cultural Programs for Adults and the Friends of the Silas Bronson Library.
