Learn and experience the art of portraiture! In this unique beginners portrait art workshop participants will gain valuable experience learning and practicing portraiture in a variety of methods including those of the masters! Lessons will cover pencil techniques, facial proportions and varied approaches along with valuable insider tips for observing and sketching the portrait. Zoom Class will be a combination of slideshow discussion and hands on sketching while watching an interactive demonstration each step of the way. A pdf of our class project for convenience printing will be emailed to registered students.
Recommended materials:
- a selection of pencils (graphite/charcoal). an “H”, 2-3B and a 5-6B are nice to have.
- 11×14″ art pad.
- erasers (vinyl and kneaded)
