HOW TO DEVELOP THRIVING PLANT COMMUNITIES by Eric Fleisher and Andrea Filippone

$5.00Andrea and Eric will discuss how to develop and manage fully functional biological systems fostering healthy plant communities by making appropriate plant choices, placement and soil management decisions. They will use examples from their extensive experience of project development that include design, installation, and implementation through out the United States. Join them for and evening of focus on environmental restoration and their vision of creating a patchwork of functional biological systems wherever landscapes, no matter how large or small, are developed and/or managed.
Eric “T” Fleisher is a national leader in the field of environmental restoration. He is currently the Organic Landscape Program developer at Harvard University and has worked extensively with Battery Park City Parks Conservancy, the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, and the Mount Auburn Cemetery among others.
Andrea J. Filippone is currently the Director of the American Boxwood Society since 2000 and is devoted to the appreciation, scientific understanding, and propagation of Buxus. She is a member of the Royal Horticultural Society team to find a cure for Boxwood’s Cylindrocladium Buxicola.
