Free Summer Concerts
July 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free
The Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston continues its 20th year of free summer concerts in the park with a performance by Cold Chocolate. Due to planned renovations to the usual venue, this concert will be held in Reeves Field, North Main St. behind JDT’s Restaurant, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday, July 24th. The corporate sponsor for the Summer Concert Series is the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation.
Cold Chocolate is a genre-bending Americana band that fuses folk, funk and bluegrass to create a unique sound all their own. Featuring Ethan Robbins on guitar and Ariel Bernstein on percussion, this group from Boston is punctuated by tight harmonies and skillful musicianship, with a focus on songwriting. They have quickly gained recognition for their original music and high-energy shows.
Reeves Field is handicap accessible. The Town of Thomaston does not permit liquor in its Parks. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, and prepare to sit back and enjoy the wonder of live music! In the event of inclement weather, this concert will move to the Thomaston Opera House, 158 Main St., Thomaston. To check weather status, visit the website at www.thomastonfinearts.com.
