Free Summer Concert

The Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston continues its 20th year of free summer concerts in the park with a performance by JukeBox 45. Due to planned renovations to the usual venue, this concert will be held in Reeves Field, North Main St. behind JDT’s Restaurant, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday, July 31st. The corporate sponsor for the Summer Concert Series is the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation.

JukeBox 45 was formed by bass Jerry Fanfarelli, a well-known CT wind musician who has played professionally for over 50 years. He assembled a group of talented musicians who re-create the great musical harmonies of the 50’s and 60’s, including baritone Al Floyd on drums; second tenor Paul Scungio on keyboards; and first tenor Joe Carver rounds out the group playing bass.

Reeves Field is handicap accessible. The Town of Thomaston does not permit liquor in its Parks. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, and prepare to sit back and enjoy the wonder of live music!
