Kellogg Environmental Center Derby CT
Saturday December 3nd, 2022 from 2-4pm
From shapes to line work and the shading in between, learn everything you need to know for drawing a beautiful acorn! Students of all levels are welcome and will be guided through the process by professional artist, ShawnaLee Kwashnak. We will be inspired by New England’s Bounty of Acorns! Materials and supplies will be provided. This workshop is best suited for ages 10 & up. There is no cost for the workshop, however, Donations to the Center are most welcome!

This special opportunity coincides with an art show of ShawnaLee’s art show: Moments Unlost! Works of art will be on view at the center from November 15th through December 30th. An opening reception will take place on November 26th from 2-4pm and is free to attend. There will be light refreshments and plenty of art to view! Works of art will have information to read to engage the viewers in conversation.

The Kellogg Environmental Center is about 30 minutes from Middlebury and is a very pleasant drive. It is a hidden treasure and is perfect for a day trip activity for the whole family!
