Crazy Creatures Art Camp (Grades 4-8)
Students will design and then draw a variety of creatures (dragons, unicorns, trolls, mermaids, elves, faeries, griffins and mermaids) before transforming their chosen drawing into a three- dimensional character. Students will work with choice of clay, plaster, fabric, paper mache and recycled materials. Instructor will provide an overview of mythical creatures in art history and the myths “crazy creatures” have inspired since. Bring a bag lunch and snack.
