Collage: Painting with Paper with Carol Moore

In this four-week class, students will tear their images without using scissors and experience how to ‘paint from paper.’ Bring a fun attitude and go back to being a child and creating with torn paper.

Students are asked to bring:
– a one inch or 1/2 inch inexpensive brush ( sold as “painter’s brushes”) and
– 4 to 5 colorful magazines which will be the source for the images. Clothing magazines with lots of solid color are best for this workshop.
– Satin finish Modge Podge glue. Be sure to purchase the Satin Finish variety.
– 3 to 4 art boards, in 4 x 6, 6 x 8, 8 x 10 sizes.

All supplies can be purchased at most hardware, Walmart, or Home Depot stores.
