When you think about collecting buttons, you probably think of that jar by the washer that you throw stray buttons into or maybe you think of Grandma’s sewing box. This presentation will take your ideas about buttons to a whole new level. Each button is a piece of history with a story to tell. Starting back in 2000BCE with the very first buttons, we will go on a journey through time exploring the connection between buttons, culture, history and the environment with a few incredible tales sprinkled throughout.
