Derby / Shelton – Join the City of Derby for a free, family-friendly summer celebration downtown featuring live music, local food vendors, and a fireworks show at dusk. Approximate fireworks start time: 9:15 pm.
Seymour – Fireworks Celebration at Chatfield Park, located at 11 Chatfield Street, Seymour, CT. Approximate start time: 8 pm.
July 4
Middlebury – Beach Party & 3D Fireworks at Quassy Amusement Park. The beach party begins at 8 pm., with fireworks scheduled for approximately 10 pm.
Naugatuck – 4th of July Festival & Fireworks. Festival hours are 4 pm. – 10 pm. Enjoy live music, food, vendors, and fun for the whole family on Downtown Green and Church Street area. Fireworks begin at 9 pm.
Roxbury – Waterbury Symphony Orchestra & Fireworks at Hurlburt Park, located at 18 Apple Lane, Roxbury, CT. Music begins at 8 pm.; fireworks begin at 9 pm.
Waterbury – Waterbury’s Independence Day Fireworks at Holy Land USA. Approximate start time: 9:15 pm. (Rain date: Sunday, July 5.)
July 11
Beacon Falls – Family Day Fireworks – Pent Road Recreation Facilities. Parking is limited. Free buses from downtown and the high school run from 6:30 – 9pm, and again after the fireworks.
July 15 & July 17
Oxford – Quaker Farms Fire Co. Annual Carnival – Oxford High School located at 61 Quaker Farms Rd . Fireworks begin at 9:45 pm.
July 31
Thomaston – Thomaston Volunteer Fire Department Annual Carnival & Fireworks at Sanford Field on Sanford Avenue, Thomaston, CT.
Carnival: Wednesday, July 29 – Saturday, August 1
250th Celebration Parade: Saturday, August 1, at 5 pm.
Fireworks: Friday, July 31, at 9 pm.
